Mauricio is a chill guy that can answer all your questions about Santa Catalina in general or surfing in particular. He is very interesting to talk with. I thoroughly enjoyed my week at Surfasana. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. If you come to Santa Catalina for surfing or diving, I highly recommend Surfasana Lodge for your accomodations. "

The property itself is beautiful — the grounds are peaceful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything feels really well cared for. The staff were outstanding from start to finish: friendly, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent, and being able to borrow bikes to explore the area was such a great touch. The location is also ideal — nicely tucked away so it feels calm and private, yet still perfectly situated between both ends of town so everything is easy to get to. Overall, this place is amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Santa Catalina."
