"My stay at The Hood River Hotel was a quick one and more for convenience. I know it’s stated on the website but it’s something I missed and that’s that there is no parking. You have to pay to park on the street or pay to park in a lot around the corner. Minor irritation but not the end of the world. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. My room was clean and offered a pretty cool “mini bar” selection. It was fun for a nostalgic feel and that’s exactly what I wanted so it fit the bill for that. If you like cushy places with loads of amenities, not the place for you. If you appreciate vintage vibes and just need a place to lay your head and be near convenience (coffee, food and shopping) then this place is perfect!"
"Clean room and bed. Quiet not being right on the freeway. Needed room blacking curtains, the window shade was minimal for blocking the sun coming straight in the window or the lights on the walkway outside the room. Also would have been nice to have a chair to sit in and relax; there was none even though the room definitely has space for a comfortable sitting chair. The chairs that went with the small table had rips in the vinyl and could stand to be replaced. While I was not traveling with pets this trip, it's great to see they allow pets."
"I like the convenience of their ground level rooms for bringing in ski gear. The fridge and microwave are nice extras, and the HVAC system works great! The bed is very comfortable as well."

"Nice clean, modern room. Unfortunately we were close to a conference room that was hosting prom or some sort of graduation party and was loud down the hall and could hear kids outside until about midnight. Other than that was a nice place. Would stay again."
"I asked for, and got, only one queen-sized bed. So, the room was HUGE! Everything was super clean. The wall-mounted air conditioner/heater was quiet and effective, and the bed was comfortable. I had a very good night's sleep. The toilet backed up once and the manager was very responsive, coming to my room with a plunger just minutes after I called him."
"Our favorite part were the hotel grounds: beautiful views, extremely well maintained gardens, paths and water features with multiple sitting areas. Front desk staff (Michelle) super friendly and knowledgeable. Room was very comfortable, art deco style beautifully adorns the spaces, free coffee in the morning was simple and delicious. Walking the grounds in the morning or before dinner was lovely. The hotel is also very close to Hood River town and must see locations."
