"This was quite the lovely stay—easy in and out, powered with electricity to recharge my devices. Would definitely stay again. The food on site is also really tasty and reasonably priced. The biggest perk is that it’s open past 5pm unlike most other places in the area. "

"Our family stayed at Silkari Lagoons in Port Douglas recently and overall had a very enjoyable time. The setting is surrounded by lush gardens, lagoon-style pools (six of them), and relaxing BBQ areas make it feels like a tropical resort. "Great spot, with really nice pool. Also has a cute pond with barramundi in it. Room was nice and big, fridge worked well. Super convenient location to get into town and also visit the surrounds. On the older side but that made the price very good. We managed to avoid the timeshare/club sales pitch and thry didnt hound us like some people mention, just say no you are busy "

"I didn’t realise how central it is to everything - the beach, yoga, shops, cafes, restaurants, mariner. I felt safe, loved the room and the gorgeous wildlife that I could see everyday and night from my balcony. Bay Villas is located really close to the main shopping/eats street - great cheap shuttle service pick-up/drop off at your leisure. The staff at Bay Villas were SO friendly & helpful-incl. ongoing communication prior to our arrival, suggestions/arrangements for activities whilst visiting, and easy a/h checkin - which all made our holiday easy, seamless & stress free.
