"Amazing place and great location , Joao and his staff were very accommodating and helpful during my stay , would highly recommend and would book again when I’m back in Amarante , the breakfast at the bakery across the hotel was amazing and the staff there were very nice and helpful as well , I was in town in to prepare for a cycling race and they helped with a breakfast box the day of my race. "We were heading out very early one morning for a tour and because breakfast was not served until 8:30 we would have missed it. They left everything in the fridge se we could help ourselves to breakfast very early. Very much appreciated. Susanna was wonderful and made us a fire and was very welcoming."

"Everything about the place is beautiful and deserves a longer stay to enjoy all the amenities. Unfortunately, the town is charming but does not offer much for more than 1 night. If I could do it again, I would arrive earlier to enjoy the facilities and great restaurants, spa, etc., and still have some time to walk around the charming town."
