"La habitación no estaba muy limpia. Había tela de arañas y pelos en el piso. Cuando te hacían el servicio de limpieza solamente te hacían la cama, después no te cambiaban las toallas ni tampoco barrían, las toallas estaban todas viejas. El desayuno terrible de malo. Lo único positivo es que la ducha tenía buena presión y la cama cómoda. El precio debería ser la mitad de lo que cobran."

I stayed for a while and the staff were always very helpful and friendly, and my room was cleaned regularly. I loved the patio and terrasse too, it was great to spend some free time there and even do a bit of work."

"We visited Argentina from Boston, MA for a family vacation in Buenos Aires, staying at the 1828 Smart Hotel for 7 nights, broken up by trips to Iguazu and Patagonia. The staff was exceptional, always attentive, caring and professional. We were able to leave a large bag behind for our excursions. The breakfast was excellent, with several options and eggs prepared as requested. It is a small hotel oasis in Palermo. The outdoor pool and lounge area is as the pictures show. Palermo is wonderful - full of cafe's, excellent restaurants and shopping. We will miss the wonderful, proud people of Argentina and we miss the friendships we made with the wonderful staff. "

"It was a nice stay and the location was fairly good. Keep in mind it is a bit of a walk or uber ride to the nicer cafes and other points of interest in Palermo. The most important thing to know about this stay is that it is quite noisy. There is a school or daycare centerer that starts very early in the morning and you will hear kids yelling, shouting, and playing starting before 8am. Even with a sound machine it was very loud. There were also parties in the afternoon and evening in the complex, so if you are looking to sleep in at all or take naps in the afternoon probably consider staying somewhere else."
