"Wir waren zwei Nächte in dieser Unterkunft und haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb und bietet eine wunderschöne, ruhige und idyllische Atmosphäre. Der Vermieter hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns alles in der Unterkunft gezeigt. Das Frühstück hatten wir dazugebucht und es war mit Abstand das beste während unseres 15-tägigen Südafrika-Aufenthalts. Es gab viele liebevoll selbstgemachte Speisen, darunter Brötchen, Pancakes, Obstsalat, Marmeladen und...

"The only reason I'm giving this place 4* is because the road leading down is gravel and not bery well maintained. The cabin itself is a paradise! The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. "

"We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there...
