Highly recommend talking with the staff about the history of this fascinating, historic hotel. The staff were also flexible, kind and made you feel comfortable. Clean, comfortable rooms. "Outstanding, friendly check=in person. Pleasantly surprised by attractive, spotless room. What needs upgrading is the toilet which is way too low... especially for older guests. Too bad the riverfront rooms do not have view of river from nice, spacious deck. "

"Clean and comfort"

"The hotel room was convenient and comfortable. My only complaints or suggestions was that they needed a long mirror somewhere in the room and we could not get any of the lights to work in the morning. I think it had blown a fuse. The bathroom light would turn on but the bedroom electrical didn’t seem to work. "
