"Absolutely beautiful place to spend 5 days. Utterly clean, great food, cold drinks, very very cheap, free kayaks and paddle boards, good shower, friendly dogs, interesting wildlife, really friendly staff, loads of interesting places to sit and lay down in the communal area, can walk quite far out into the Indian ocean when the tide is out and it faces west so the view of the sun setting each evening is spectacular. I'll give it a 14 out of 10!!! "

"I can’t recommend Clove Island highly enough. The setting is stunning, right on a super quiet beach and so relaxing and zen. The design of the apartments is gorgeous, so much attention to detail, it felt like a serene beach house. The staff are all amazing, the manager really took time to make sure everyone enjoyed their stay, and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. "Fantastisk beliggenhet , hyggelig personale og en rolig atmosfære. Kort vei til landsby, med lokal mat og mye interessant å se. Fiskerne kommer i land grytidlig og har auksjon på morgenen. Vi bestilte halvpensjon (half board) og det var lønnsomt økonomisk. Super frokost! "

"arrived in the middle of the night after an error with a reservation at a different property. Manager met us with freshly squeezed juice and was very kind and thoughtful. Small hotel with large, very clean and comfortable rooms. Would be great for families. Great value for money!"

"We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel. Its in a good location, and right on the beach making it easy to explore the local attractions, take boat trips and visit the nearby village. The staff were all really helpful, attentive and friendly. The pool and grounds are well maintained and the rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. The delicious food was fresh, locally sourced and plentiful - we sampled it all. We particularly enjoyed the floating breakfast on our last morning. Entertainment...

"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure you were happy. The hotel was clean and the pool quiet and beautiful. Beach access was great and the view from our room was stunning. It was a great place to relax after climbing Kilimanjaro! Only issue was limited range of food, particularly for vegetarians. "

"Velmi se nám líbila poloha hotelu, vzhledem k tomu, že je mimo další turistická letoviska, je zde klid a soukromí. Nejbližší supermarket byl vzdálený cca. 20 km, což pro nás nebyl s vypůjčeným autem problém. Jídlo v restauraci bylo opravdu výborné. Snídaně byly oproti tomu bohužel slabší. Pokoj byl uklízen každý den a ručníky měněny dle potřeby."
