"Looks are deceiving. The hotel is very nice and updated so we liked our room at first. Then after being there an hour quickly wished we had stayed somewhere else. It is the loudest hotel I have ever stayed at. The walls and floors must be very thin. We could hear walking everywhere….hallway, above us, etc. If we weren’t hearing noise in the hotel we could hear all the cars on the street. We couldn’t sleep so finally called the front desk to ask if the gym was above us because of all the noise above. The front desk person was very apologetic and helpful so we appreciated that. We travel through Marion at least a couple of times a year. We will go back to the Drury."

"Old stains on bathroom and bed linens should be bleached out. No new stains, so that was good . Comforters with holes that have dead pieces of bugs were icky. No live bugs, so that was good. People were very nice. Bathroom was clean."

"The only way to check in was via video kiosk. There were no staff present in the building and would not be until morning. Half of the building is boarded up. The floor in the room was dirty. There was hair in the bed. The bedding did not appear to have been changed. The bathroom door was difficult to open and close. The fountain in the lobby had no water. There were hair balls in the hallways. The building and parking lot are not being maintained. Peeling paint, broken up concrete in the parking lot. I'm not kidding about any of this. I took a look around and did not stay at the property."
