"We liked our stay at Smaranala as a stopover to our next stay. The room was nice and the pool excellent. The atmosphere is difficult to understand as it seems to be directed at long-term residents and the expat community. It is located in a strange residential place, not really close to any shops or food opportunities (you´ll find them after a lot of walking in unlit roads). Unfortunately the breakfast was not included, which is always disappointing."

"From the moment we entered the hotel to the moment we left, we were treated very well. The hotel iss beautiful and comfortable, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. The privacy of the pool area was wonderful, and everything was kept very well. We were looking for a peaceful and restful weekend getaway and this was perfectly suited for that."
