Very comfortable rooms. We loved peaceful location - near the Aasee lake, with greenery around. A pleasant 20-minute walk into the town centre. The staff were very friendly & helpful, especially Agnes on the front desk, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast selection, including eggs cooked to order, & lovely range of breads. The bar was OK but rather lacking in atmosphere, especially for a late-evening drink.

This place was wonderful for our 2 night stay. We were very pleased with the location to the botanical gardens, restaurant, lake and university of Münster. Nice room and mini bar options! Clean and friendly staff! Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Nice hotel with a nice location

Nice hotel with a nice location at the Aasee, especial good for guests with dogs. Around 20 min. Walk to the city. City was very Call and Nice not so many tourist here in the middle of August. Not so Many car parking places could be more. Room Big and fine. Only complain was an expensive breakfast at 28€ that not match the assortment and quality of the food. The hotel restaurant was on the otherside very good and very good personal service.

PROS: Nice room, with a fab bed and mattress. Lovely and clean, also had a fridge which we were grateful for as it was super warm out. Staff friendly and helpful. There was flavoured water in the reception for guests to drink. Good value for money hotel. Enjoyed our stay there. Would possibly stay again. CONS: Found the glass door to the bathroom a bit odd. Was under the impression that there would have been a Nespresso machine on the room but there wasn’t. Furniture in the lobby looked tired. The breakfast was very expensive so we went elsewhere each morning.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms and attentive staff. It’s a bit of a hike from the city proper, and the on site restaurant is pretty pricey, especially compared to the area. Only major gripe is that there are not “laundry facilities” as listen in the hotel amenities. There is a laundry SERVICE at ridiculous prices.

Housekeeping is Questionable

Definitely not a 4 star hotel! Positive was the staff was friendly, breakfast was good and the gym/sauna area was beautiful. Location great right by the lake with walking paths and restaurants. Negative, cleanliness was the biggest issue. Our bathroom did not look cleaned up upon arrival. Someone's razor with hair in it was left in our shower. I asked my room to be cleaned, was gone for over 4 hours and it was not done when I returned. I then asked for clean towels in lieu of a cleaning and they were never delivered until I asked a second time. Lamps and corners were dusty and some even had cobwebs. Bed seemed clean, but clearly there is no attention to detail in the cleaning. The property was also very dated looking and not like the photos. Will not stay here again.
