Casa Tua Spa Resort

"Having travelled extensively and stayed in many resorts, I think the word “resort” sets an expectation that Casa Tua unfortunately doesn’t quite meet. We stayed in the Junior Suite with balcony, and the room itself is absolutely gorgeous — beautifully presented, spacious, comfortable and clearly finished with a lot of care. The property is essentially a converted house, and while it has plenty of charm, it feels much more like a boutique guesthouse or small country hotel than a resort. The biggest drawback for me is the location. Casa Tua sits between a major road and a railway line, which significantly affects the atmosphere outside. Credit where it is due: the rooms are very well insulated, so the traffic and trains did not disturb us at night. However, you obviously don’t have that insulation when you are outside by the pool. For me, a pool at a “resort” should be somewhere you can switch off, relax and enjoy a sense of tranquillity. Here, the surrounding road and railway noise make that difficult. The pool itself may look lovely, but the experience simply isn’t peaceful."

"We had a great time at Natural Village. The entertainment at the theater was a big hit with my older son. The private beach was convenient, and the seaside restaurant was delicious. Make a reservation ahead of time to guarantee a seat, even for lunch! My only complaint is some of the games for the children were broken."

"Lovely big room.Bathroom was good but shower screen a bit dated.The TV was small for the size of the room but we don't go on holiday to watch much TV so not a problem. Breakfast was good.All cakes made on premises Good location for walking into the lovely town."

"Time worn historical building and room but clean and pleasant. . Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Very conveniently located for visiting the church. We arrived by train, got a taxi from train but walked about 25 min to train when leaving."
