"The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent for walking the old town, plenty of close restaurants and a grocery store. It is a central location for hiking in the area. There was air conditioning and a safe which we appreciated. Overall, our stay was ok but the rooms are smaller than we expected and the carpeting was quite dated and needs replacement."

"We had an amazing stay in this beautiful apartment! My family and I loved every moment. The apartment is super clean and very stylish. The location is perfect, a 7-minute walk to the town center, which made exploring Freiburg very convenient. Tom was a fantastic host, he greeted us warmly, checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, and shared excellent restaurant recommendations. When we decided to drive into Freiburg, he sent us clear directions for parking, making it incredibly easy...

"Booked twin room in advance, had a double that we easily separated into two singles, no trams, had to get an uber, don’t stay here if you want to go into town"

"Beautifully appointed apartment in a superb location. Fantastic communication from our host, including local sightseeing and restaurant tips. Hot tub on the roof top was a lovely way to relax in the afternoon. Points to note are that it's a penthouse and there's no lift. Also, double check the sleeping arrangements will work for you if your party is more than 2 people."

"Traditional style hotel on the outskirts of Freiburg avoiding driving through the centre of the city. Free parking available at the hotel and 5 minute walk to tram stop to get into the city. City has many interesting historic buildings and attractions."
