"Checked in Monday night to a room that had a sink full of water that would not drain room. AC did not work and the room smelled of a very strong musty like it hasn’t been used in a while. Went to the front desk, said the issues they put me in another room and the other building walked into the room. No AC would not come on was told by the front desk. They had no other rooms to move me to went back to my room unplugged the AC unit from the wall plugged it. Back in unit came on for four or five minutes and then shut off. Since I had already checked in, I had no other option but to deal with the misery of sweating all night. Told the front desk the next morning there wasn’t anything they could do. I went on about my day visiting my daughter that’s in the Navy. Came back that afternoon still no AC unplugged it again waited probably 30 minutes plugged it back in change the temperature to 63° and then the unit would never shut off so it literally ran all afternoon and all night. Yes, it cooled the room off, but it apparently would not shut off once the room reached set temperature. I don’t know what the heck is going on at this hotel but something is a mess. The other issue is in the second building. There is a horrible smell in the hallways that bleeds into your rooms like some type of incense. I never could figure out what the heck the smell was. What I stay here again highly doubtful. For years I have been a diamond status customer for choice hotels."

"Breakfast fresh daily though menu items changes. One day there was biscuits with gravy, another day had sausage links and omelet. Grits are instant. "

This place looked like a run down motel I have reached out to customer care and the response is they will educate staff on the different bed sizes and evaluate the condition of the property. "What a cool and spooky Queen Anne. Owner is a sweetheart. Comfortable room and easy walk to Palafox. Great location at a great price. AC blows cold. Breakfast was good. My goth kid already knew about that house. We didn't see the 'woman in grey', but you can definitely feel the history in the place. Built by sea captain and former mayor of Pensacola, William Hazard Northup. Go and enjoy."

"This is a converted church which means the rooms are not standardized and your experience might depend on which room you are assigned. The hotel has good beds and linens, but small rooms ( or some are at least) a very poor, loud, AC system, poor cleaning, very poor sound proofing of rooms. It really depends on the price point you pay. These rooms can be as much as $400. They are worth 1/2 that amount. If you are paying at that 1/2 rate, then maybe an OK proposition. For example in room coffee provided is "instant" coffee. That a cheap way for the hotel to provide this service ( less labour cost) but not in keeping with an expensive room Also, note this is a 2 star - staff-less hotel. If you have any issues, no one will respond to you. I waited 13 hours for a responce. Most reponces are written by AI - and contain very little useful information. This is our future I suppose.
