"It took them about 45 from the time I arrived to get me checked in to get it done due to the staff being unable to find my booking. Even after that the room wasn't ready and I was told to find something else to do for another half hour. They only run the A/C at certain hours and only run the water heater at others... not really what I was expecting since I paid over $100 a night for this room. The breakfast was included and okay. "We visited low season but for us it was perfect. We stayed 5 nights, mid. June. The staff were wonderfully friendly and polite. Whilst part of the hotel was closed, junior suite, for renovation it did not affect us in any way. The weather was just right to, Not too hot or wet. Rain came late afternoon in the form of a sprinkle twice and overnight once but nothing much. We were lucky I'm sure but I think it's the right time of year to go, any other must get unbelievable hot. Mandalay was 40 ish...
