"It’s a little bit out of Cork, but a lovely property: both old and new part of the hotel. The best option would be a suite in the 300 year old original building, if you can afford it. But garden view newer rooms also nice!"

"A surprising bit of luxury in a small guest house. We stayed at the Glen Quarter for one night at the start of a coastal tour, but now I kind of wish we'd booked two nights instead. Our stay fell on a Tuesday night in the off season, so I feel like we barely sampled the charms of Kinsale and now I want to come back for a longer stand (this happens A LOT in Ireland... Charming smaller towns feel so welcoming and familiar, but are eclipsed by the glamorous bigger cities). But back to the Glen...

"We had a fantastic stay at Moxy Cork. It’s clean, staff are all friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. We saw Brian regularly throughout our stay and he preempted our orders from the first day. Breakfast was delicious and very varied; yogurt, oats, fresh fruit salad, mini pastries, iced donuts, Irish wheaten bread, rolls and every type of bread imaginable, 3 types of fruits, a selection of cold cuts and cheese and a hot selection of bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs and beans.
