Great location, 5min walk from the metro train line. One stop from Nagoya station. Fantastic area for food options. Great cafe attached to the hotel! Staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely be staying here again!

Clean and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at Lamp Light Books. The room was clean and comfortable however as a family, there was very little room for our bags. Overall, the location was great and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The staff is very friendly and will assist you with anything you need. The rooms are compact but have everything you might need. The area is convenient with all types of konbini in walking distance. The downstairs cafe is nice and homey with all sorts of books and drinks.

Nice place to stay and relax. Easy transportation through subways and only one stop away from main Nagoya station. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Nagoya.

The room was a sufficient size with a nice shower and decent A/C control. Staff were very friendly and helped with an umbrella loan. The breakfast was cute and a nice way to start the day. The reading nook / library was a pleasant environment to sit in while having breakfast. The location was fine and close enough to subway stations and I ate at two excellent restaurants within a 15-minute walk of the hotel. I would stay again.

Great location, about 2 blocks from fushimi metro station and across the street is a convenience store and a park. Staff were lovely and accommodating, and the 24hr cafe was a great amenity! You also get a free drink on the house and can take books up to your room. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Nagoya!

Fab little spot to stay for book lovers and anyone who wants to see Nagoya. I booked the hotel as I was visiting Ghibli Park and the location is perfect. Hotel is a short walk to the nearest station and walkable to the bullet train station if it’s a nice day!

Absolutely adored the property - the lobby is a cafe, reception, and library all in one, with tasty small bites and plentiful drinks, to comfortable rooms with good views over the neighboring park. We booked our room knowing it did not have a bathtub, but with reasonable rates in the middle of Nagoya it made for a very pleasant stay.

Good size rooms and really nice shower in the room. Modern décor and comfy bed. The hotel itself was clean, with friendly staff. I liked the idea of the books, although I didn't really get to take advantage of that. There is a nice cafe at the hotel too.

It’s pretty nice to stay with books! I read 2 books while this stay and the room provided a reading lamp and a comfortable chair! There is a Lawson convenience store next to the hotel! Way convenient!

if you like reading this is the perfect place to stay, you can take up to two books everyday and the design of the room is perfect for reading, it will definitely be on my coming back list.

A nice stopover in Nagoya

Very cozy with a chill vibe. I enjoyed browsing the book collection. The room was very clean and comfortable. The cafe and other amenities were handy to have on-hand and the hotel was close to a semi-central subway station.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, clean room and good shower. Only suggestions for improvement would be darker/blackout blinds as we were woken early by bright sunlight and removing the footstool - in such a small room it was hard to move around each other/open suitcases.

We travelled as a family.of 4, and both my kids were under 7. The room was a good size for us, since we weren't in the room often. Thrir cafe downstairs is very convenient for much needed caffeine in the morning. Their burgers alternate daily, and theyre a good option if you have snall kids and need them fed quickly. All of the places we wanted to go were a convenient walk from thr hotel

Lovely boutique hotel in the middle of sakae and nagoya station, which allow you to walk to both places. Subway station is nearby and easy to go other places too! The room is cozy and clean. But the size is a bit small just like other boutique hotels in Japan. Will stay again next time if going to Nagoya.

Even though the single room is quite small, but it looks brand new and clean. There is no problem moving around the room. The couch, by the way, is especially relaxing. However, I did not like the breakfast that much. Quantity is not enough!
