"We really enjoyed our stay at Ciala Resort. The grounds are lovely. The rooms are comfortable. The food is good and the staff are EXCELLENT (kind, thoughtful and attentive).
We were in Kisumu for a wedding and didn’t spend much time at the property, but in the moments we had we enjoyed the pool and the gym. Breakfast was good with both local and international choices. Dinner was better.
Unfortunately, on our last day my son got sick. The staff were so helpful. It was early in the morning before...

"No ocean view, noisy, rooms were disappointing, no hot water, wifi was not working and there was poor communication during check in, in regards to expedia pricing vs property management wanting to charge and additional amount for the amount. "

"Be prepared to walk up and down hills. NO hot water in the shower.food was ok, but eat in your room if you want to be comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pictures don't really show you what this place is like."
