Dying plants and general untidiness of building. However the breakfast was good with plenty of selections. Check in was efficient and friendly. Room was very adequate and clean bedding and towels. Unfortunately the building is in great need of some care and attention.

The area is quiet being set back off the main road. The king bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately there are 2 negative aspects. 1. The carpet was badly stained and smelt on opening the door. 2. Continental Breakfast was supplied, however, a few cereals, tea and coffee, milk, juice and almost stale bread does not cut it. There was no fruit, not even a banana.

I booked the room as the pool looked so inviting and I knew I would have spent the day in the sun at a swimming carnival then travelled two hours. The pool was murky, dirty and smelly. I put only my feet in. The water in the shower smelled very strong and the shower leaked under the fitting. The room was lovely, spacious and clean.

Hello Ingrid, Thanks for your feedback and sorry that the pool was murky as we had dust storm the previous day and after that the pool was shocked and chlorinated hence murky.

It was clean but bore water smells terrible, not sure you can do anything about that. Won’t stay in Narranderra again will stop after in Finley or further down. Reception couldn’t even give a smile. Power points were questionable.

Hello Greg, appreciate your feedback. Sorry that the water was bad on the day. It does happen sometimes that the water quality in all of Narrandera is not so good but the council is quick in fixing the fault. Got the powerpoints checked by electrician and all ok.

Don’t you hate it when the motel is empty but two customers get put side by side or on top of each other. I could hear the guy peeing as if he was in my room. Footsteps echoed etc Rooms dated and old but quiet location.

Clean but dated. Basic free continental breakfast. Stayed for 3 nights room wasn't restocked or cleaned. No hot water first day but was promptly fixed

Hello Jennifer, Thank you for your comments and feedback.To maintain privacy the housekeepers do not enter room so the best way is to put the "Tidy up my room" signboard at the door knob or alternatively ask at reception but surely your point is duly noted.Sorry for the hot water issue caused by the electricity power outage in the town but was fixed later.

The room was in very poor condition, not only could you visibly see black mould in the bathroom you could also smell the musky smell. The kettle itself was very rusty and we could not and would not use it to enjoy the complimentary tea/coffee service. It certainly needed some TLC.

Hello Luke, Thanks for your feedback. Our rooms are nicely cleaned everyday smelling fresh and is rated one of the best motel in town. No one has so far complained about the kettle except you but your points are noted and will be looked at if still something needs to be done.

The owner keeps the property pristine. The room we had was fastidiously presented. The owner couldn't do enough to help, and he put on the most thoughtful breakfast, even laying out other options for those on special diets. He went to far more lengths in meeting the guests' needs than we ever could have hoped for. Highly recommend this place.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in and out were easy. Room layout was unusual in wash basin was in the room not the bathroom but also doubled as a sink.

Worth a stop
Just what you need after a long drive, room was clean and comfortable. Large size room with a king plus single bed. Very friendly owner, and the included breakfast is unexpected. The pancake machine (with it's viewing window) was my son's favourite. Highly recommend, and will return next time travelling through Narrandera The nearby 'koala reserve' is worth a visit

This is a standard and reliable motel. Does need updating and repainting and patching here and there. But it is very clean and tidy, and does provide a free breakfast complete with pancakes. Stayed here a few times and have had an enjoyable time.

We had a one night stay at Bishop's Lodge but had a late getaway from Sydney. The owner stayed up beyond check in hours for our arrival, and also arranged a ground floor unit as I had a knee injury, both these were much appreciated.

Ok the property is older style. But we found it comfortable. Breakfast was good, thrown in for the price of the room. Loved the pancake machine. Could of sat there watching it for hours. Actually it would have to be one of the entertainment highlights in Narrandera.
