"A stunning property, full of stylish period features. We felt like we were the only guests staying and considered our stunning room with a view to be our 'home'. The onsite butler carried out his work so quietly we hardly knew he was there, but was always available to give friendly travel advice or assistance. Fantastic location in a charming historic village, complete with delicious eateries a short walk away. We will be back!!"

"We loved our short stay at the Rivulet and our room was spacious, well appointed and with a luxurious extra wide bed. We were aware of a shower running in another room but overall we had a very comfortable stay. The grounds and the amenities and on-site parking were also much appreciated. "I tend to judge a hotel by its bed, shower pressure and pillows. This hotel ticks the box on all 3 which should be common across all hotels but sadly isn't. The view from the front rooms is incredible and anyone staying with you should pay the little bit extra to get a view of the harbour. The shower pressure is fantastic and the towels thick and fluffy. "A great place to park yourself within east walking distance to Salamanca Wharf. Great places to eat especially Botanical just down the hill. Our room was super comfy with fluffy white towels. The only downer was the shower over the bath. So old fashioned in today’s world."
