Older hotel, with older style furnishings. A little tired in places. Room spacious with comfortable bed. Bath tub with powerful shower over, but a shower curtain rather than screen. Very poor toiletries provided and cheap toilet paper. Small tv in the room. Breakfast was limited and you had to queue to be serviced the hot items as well as the juice and not enough tables. No evening meal available on site but there was a bar.

The location is excellent and the staff polite and welcoming but we found cleanliness needs to be improved. The rugs were not properly vacuumed, there is dust on the corners, dust on furniture, soap scum in the shower floor, light switches had handprints, top of bedboard had black dust as well as the picture frames. I had to wipe all surfaces with Lysol wipes. The shower handle was coming off, there was hot water but very little pressure. The complimentary breakfast was ok, but they start removing items 30 minutes before it closes. The staff in the breakfast room works very hard but this morning were overwhelmed with a tour bus leaving. I think the redeeming factor of this property is the location. Free parking is a plus and you can walk to shops and restaurants. Inspite of this all, it's acceptable if you don't mind the cleanliness factor.

Avoid the hotel if you are looking for a clean and river frontage property as they cannot guarantee you a view room even if you booked and paid in advance. Hotel is dated, air conditioner filers thick with dust (we cleaned them) and breakfast controlled buffet with little choice and small portions. Front desk experience poor, staff who claimed lost booking, no rooms we pre available paid for available and does not guarantee poor skills. Didn’t feel like the customer but a burden. Poor skills. Expedia however very good to rectify the booking confusion when contacted.

I booked a king room on the river. They gave us a room with double bed facing the parking lot. I complained to hotel and they told me they over booked for that weekend. Very disappointed.

The Hotel overall was very clean until we opened the door to our room, it wasn't vacuumed and the beds had wrinkles on top of the Quilts the bathroom floor was dirty ,we were worn out from driving and visiting at the hospital.

Our room was noisy. Kids above our room were running and jumping. The woman at the front desk said she couldn't ask them to be quiet!! Husband said then you better give us another room which she did. Not sure why she couldn't ask them to be quiet. Said they just at a funeral why would she know that!!!

When i checked out this morning i noticed a 20.18 charge on my bank account. I called the Natchez Grand and they told me because i booked my room through Expedia i was charged for TV parking and breakfast. This was adminatives. We thought breakfast was free because wewere given tickets to give for breakfast. I was never told i had to pay for this. Its not the 20.18 its the principal of it. So just letting everone know When they have your credit card number they can charge you for any and everything even though you paid expedia for the room.
