The food in the bar area was excellent and good value. The only small niggle was there wasn’t a desk lamp in the room.

This place is breathtakingly beautiful, a fairytale location with a wonderful welcome - it's the best hotel we've stayed by far and we will definitely be returning.

We booked a cabin and received a nice upgrade to a cottage, which was very clean, well decorated, quiet, and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was roomy to cook in, plus there was a nice area to sit outside and gaze at the sweet cows. It's a lovely destination in itself and not far from Trim.

Beautiful property and superb gardens. Tranquil and relaxing. A little gem. Michael & John both great hosts.

Great views of Trim castle from the roof bar and surrounding countryside. Shame the entrance doors are not automatic as it would help when trying to get luggage into hotel.

Great stay for a wedding in Cabra Castle, just down the road. Room was clean and perfect for what we needed. Very friendly and welcoming too!

Amazing, as always. We regularly return to Cabra Castle as it is such a wonderful hotel. The staff are so lovely, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is magical. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Very enjoyable stay, well situated hotel, friendly, helpful staff my son left his passport and quick thinking from the staff helped us to organise a taxi to bring the passport to the airport so that we could catch our flight, thank you very much. Kind regards Alison

Everything about this hotel is first class amazing.

I liked the warm welcome from the reception and waitressing staff. The house keeping was excellent. The flowers at the entrance were fabulous. The chef cooks a great steak. The bed was comfy . There is Netflix. It’s good value .

From the very beginning, before we even arrived at the hotel, it was clear the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel and grounds are immaculate and the countryside setting is stunning. The walks around the grounds are so peaceful. We had breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks while staying there and couldn't find fault with anything. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, we even got to have a look around 10 bedroom Balyna House which can be rented out with its own bar and butler and a cool...

Dated, but it’s a castle. Unique, nice food, comfortable be. Room was very warm
