"The staff at this hotel, both Reception and at Breakfast, were excellent. Very friendly and willing to assist when required. This hotel is so well located in the centre of Oberstdorf. You could not ask for better. We had a large bedroom with an excellent shower and toilet facility. Nevertheless, two areas to point out. "We felt pampered on the Lechweg. This is a wonderful place and it feels like it is brand new from the kitchenette to the bathroom to the bedding. Everything is spotless and you cannot beat the views from the bed or dining table. Stunning!!!! AC would be nice on the hot days. The location is great. The grocery store is right around the corner and the hanging bridge is 35 minutes. The Lechweg trail is only 5 minutes walk from here."

Ski bus operated by the hotel twice in the morning but the public ski bus is right in front of the hotel as well. Driving to the nearest ski area (Warth) was easy 12-15 minutes and at the Jägeralp skilift there was plenty of parking. The road between Warth and Lech is closed (not sure if it is a permanent thing for winters, but that means that Lech/Oberlech can only be reached by...
