The hotel was absolutely incredible. Its surroundings were beautiful. We stayed in the Courtyard Suite and it was huge. The staff made the stay so special, and food was stunning! One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at! Thank you!

Stayed on our last night in Sri Lanka as a stopover on the way to the airport. Can't remember exactly but it's about a 20 min drive. Hence can't comment on the local area and what's around. The hotel however is wonderful. Old colonial building tastefully renovated with great attention to detail. Food was also very good and reasonably priced. A real bit of luxury in great grounds. Excellent hotel, staff couldn't have been kinder and more accomodating, great location near restaurants, shops and the National Museum and Natural History museum. Overall a brilliant stay

We stayed at Waterland on our first night in Colombo for one night and the main issue with our stay was that it wasn’t for long enough. Me and a friend arrived at different time and Waterland arranged for both of us to be picked up from the airport. The hotel is a little way out of Colombo but it is in a lovely, quiet setting. I stayed at this hotel because it was reasonably close to the airport, and on the beach, and would have been happy with something quite basic, but the quality of service and facilities was more than I expected. It is also the first hotel I have ever stayed in that outlines a clear policy of zero tolerance of child abuse and gives directions to guests as to what they can do if they observe something untoward. Very clean and a convenient location to get to the airport. The breakfast was ok for vegetarians but the chefs tried their best to make whatever was possible. The Chinese restaurant golden dragon was really good. The food was amazing. The staff was friendly. Overall all the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

the hotel was right on the beach. We had a seaview room which was large and roomy. The room was kept very clean. The facilities at the hotel were very good. All the staff that worked there were amazing and could not do enough for you. The anamation team made sure that guests were occupied during the day.You were made to feel like a person rather than just a number. The pol was kept very clean. The food was varied although most dishes were spicy there was something for everybody to eat.

Its a fantastic hotel and looking forward to stay next time. Service staffs specially staffs at pool bar and security near lobby lift need to be much more friendly and need to talk to guest. I found that hotel staffs only do their duty no one like to talk or smile to a guest , i stayed 4 nights not even one time a breakfast staff ask me if i like tea or coffee so these things they do better, I like mention HK team on 6th floor and gym team they are doing fantastic job , smile and they love...

We had such a lovely stay at Havelock Bungalow! The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The bungalow itself is beautiful, full of character and very well looked after, with such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Very nice hotel, right on the beach. Nice long Beach, great for walks. Breakfast and dinner selection was very good. Staff were friendly and rooms were comfortable.

This a nice hotel with an amazing view! The staff was super friendly. They allowed us to store our luggage for free while we went on a quick trip to Kandy. Rooms are clean and the room service good was good. The hotel rooms were like an apartment style. We had two rooms, with two full baths. , washer, kitchen, living room and dinning room and it was great!!
