I liked the room it was nice and clean, the property is nicely looked after, nice bonuses like hot water and good water pressure also convince with the restaurant near by. Exactly what you'd be looking for if wanting to stay at Maggie for a few nights, the pricing for what you get is also quite good compared to other places
Travelled with my young children, they absolutely loved the resort pool and all the birds and animal life! The staff were very friendly and had lots of helpful advice about what was open as we traveled just after new years. Highly recommend, lovely quiet place to stay.
The staff was lovely and accommodating. We asked for a late check out and were granted it. But the property is really run down (we had cockroaches and ants in our room).
Very comfortable bed, good shower, lovely and quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. The bus stop is right outside Amaroo so easy to get around. Will go back again.
Great pool area. Restaurant was closed while we were there, but was right next to pool and looked nice.
Futon in room was only place to sit to watch tv and was very uncomfortable, but we weren't at Magnetic Island to watch tv anyway.
Kitchen had full size fridge, kettle, toaster and electric frying pan and all the crockery you might need.
Standard quality. Good bed and shower. Kitchenette was basic but quite functional. Good pool and on-site restaurant has well priced food and drinks. Tiered arrangement of room blocks is good for privacy but can be hard to get luggage up the back if you are not capable - trollies are available.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Unfortunately the room didn’t live up to our expectation. Beds were uncomfortable, singles were basically unsleepable with springs and daughter slept on the sofa bed. Couch wasn’t suffice for a family and has a broken foot. Kitchen was well equipped. Property was well maintained and staff were helpful. They even moved rooms when the aircon was unusable in first room. Bird feeding at 5.30 was great. Pool area lovely. Playground good for kids. Enjoyed wallabies at night. Curlews like everywhere in North Queensland were noisy, but not as noisy as the party in the restaurant last night. Overall I was hoping for more, but it was suffice and one of the cheapest places on the island.
Dont stay here unless you like walking a hill climb with your luggage as you cant park even close to your room. As for the restaurant it was very clean and looked nice but approximately half the items listed on the menu were unavailable, this was on a Saturday night, very very disappointing. Paid for 2 nights and left after 1, that tells the story.

The gardens and grounds are lovely. The rooms weren’t serviced in the 7 days we stayed. They probably said that at booking but I didn’t pay attention. We did get fresh towels half way through. However no fresh sheets and the sheet we had was queen size for a king size bed so kept slipping and bunching up. Then we were next to what seemed like semi permanent neighbours with a baby who also argued late at night. Probably should have asked to move rooms. Good value and convenient location near the bus stop hut average otherwise
The AC sounds like a AK-47. I am waken in cold sweat every night with the sound of a Lamborghini Aventador engine at 9000rpm.On top of the defeaning noise, the average room temperature felt cold as a winter in Thailand.
Arredo terribile e tutto rovinato.Non c'è wifi.La reception chiude alle 5 e anche il ristorante e chiuso alla sera L'unica cosa positiva è che nel giardino alla sera ci sono molti animali sselvatici(wallaby,,uccelli, etc)
