"Admittedly BW isn’t usually on my list being a frequent traveler and logistics to the more common brands. But I will say that every BW experience exceeeds my expectations. And this was no different. The room was exceedingly clean and well updated. Was it luxury, no, but that’s not what I’m looking for. Clean. Comfortable. Safe. And this property nailed it. I’d be happy to stay again."

"My husband and I had a fabulous stay at Baxter Manor. We were in town for a volleyball tournament and felt lucky to find a place so close to the venue. This was our first time staying at a bed-and-breakfast, and it set the bar high! We stayed in the charming rustic cabin in the backyard, which was cozy and full of character. We also got a peek at the bedrooms and bathroom inside the main house, and they were lovely too. Our host, Jim, was very personable and we enjoyed chatting with him and the other guests. He was incredibly accommodating and took the time to make every guest feel welcomed and comfortable. Since several couples were coming and going, he thoughtfully helped coordinate bathroom use so everything ran smoothly. In the morning, he made fresh cappuccino (my hubby really wanted to try one) and had orange juice ready for us. He also shared the history of the home and the surrounding area, which we loved learning about. The other guests were wonderful as well, which made the whole atmosphere friendly and relaxed. We'd happily come back anytime we're in the area. Highly recommend, especially for anyone visiting for an event nearby!"
