"We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is located in an area that is being rebuilt. In fact there is no paved street near it, so be aware that the surroundings are not beautiful. But the hotel itself appears new and well cared for. We loved that it had no carpet; the flooring made it easier to roll our luggage and there was no musty carpet smell in the hallways or in the room. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and nicely decorated, and the shower had great water pressure. The buffet...

We used the gym, pool and spa everyday, we even managed to fit in a fantastic couples massage. The hotel is beautiful and clean, the breakfast is superb and the staff are all so lovely and helpful. "This is a beautiful boutique hotel with all the amenities - great shower, functional kitchenette, comfortable beds, a terrace with a coffee machine available at all times, and more. The parking is a bit tight, but otherwise the entire experience is superb. The location is also central, with many places in short walking distance, such as the Roman Atheneum. "Metropole Apartments in Bucharest’s Old Center had a pretty old looking urban exterior and lobby area, but the room itself was clean and very spacious with kitchen appliances and washer. There are no onsite hosts to meet and greet, one is provided codes to enter into the building and to their room. There are a couple of cafes nearby and not in a busy area."

"Old world charm but with modern amenities. We loved everything about this hotel, in particular, the staff. To a person they went out of their way to accommodate us. As an example, on our last day and check out, they not only called a cab for us but walked outside to show us where it was waiting and even helped with our bags! The restaurant was also first rate. We had a wonderful dinner there with an even more wonderful server, Erik. I can't say enough about this charming hotel!"
