"Can't say enough good things about our stay. We were completely wowed by our room (more like a loft), the cleanliness of the grounds, the thoughtful amenities, and of course the owners and staff. In their own words (paraphrased), "...they set everything up in their rooms based on how they'd want their room to be when they travel." Michaelis and Katja, the owners, have cultivated a wonderful team, everyone is polite, helpful and well-trained in their roles. We loved having a private pool for the hotel, and some suites even had their own private hot-tubs. Although the ocean and beach were only across the street (20 second walk from the hotel entrance). Perfect for what we were looking for. All the guests were adults, mature and there were no issues with noise or poor behaviour of any kind. It can't be overstated how helpful and kind everyone was and the location from 'old town Rethymno' was really nice - that part of town was extremely busy with all the restaurants and shopping so we were actually happier being away from the noise and people. Wasn't too far away, cheap cab or a 25 minute walk. We had a very elevated experience and I would not only come back and stay but also recommend this to my friends and family. I'm not one for reviews, so for me to take the time to send some praise, should speak to how wonderful our time there was. Shoutouts to Joly(sp) and the other team members - they really made us both feel so welcome."

"Beautifully modernised hotel, gorgeous very large rooms. Really nice sundeck with infinity pool, high up so there’s a nice breeze, located next to the bar and restaurant for drinks and food to be brought to you. Breakfast was really good, a decent choice of the usual things along with local pastries etc. Staff were nice and helpful. Location wise its about 20 minutes to old town, lots of bars and restaurants along the way, else just get a lime scooter/bike as the pathway has cycle lanes."

"This hotel is amazing. We stayed in the platinum suite. It was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and huge space. The staff was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious. It was steps from the beach and the beach club is included in your stay. The price point for this hotel is such a deal. I really am so impressed with this place. Hot tub inside and on the balcony. Theres fresh baked Cretan dessert in the fridge along with water. There’s robes and slippers, blow dryer shampoo conditioner and body wash in a beautiful rainfall shower. Breakfast is also included and it’s DELICIOUS. Really good options. Very comfortable stay. DYO suites thank you for your hospitality and for an amazing comfortable and luxurious stay!"
