The location is excellent, the buffet breakfast is well-stocked, the staff are friendly, we didn't have any problems with the elevator during our 4-day stay. My only issue is the limited space in the room. As a family of 4 adults, we found it difficult to move around and prepare for the day with all our luggage:(

Good location and clean, what you would expect of a Hampton. But the AC situation is HORRIBLE and we got very poor sleep due to it. You could only set it down to 68, but it never got below 71/70. We put the fan on high so it would run constantly, but after an hour or so it would just default to auto anyway - so it would constantly kick on and off all night and it was LOUD. It was just awful, and we would never stay here again because of this.

Walkable to Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, etc., One of the reasons I picked the hotel was because of breakfast being “included”. However, breakfast was SO meh, chaotic, and crowded that I only grabbed a bagel and left 1/4 mornings I was there. The AC in room does not go below 70 - and at 70 feels more like 75. Plus it turns off and on every few minutes which is annoying.

I really appreciate the free baggage storage option for the day after your check out. So you can enjoy your day luggage free and continue with your further journey.

Rooms are small but that’s expected for the location which was perfect being right off of Times Square! The only downside was the lack of cold AC in the rooms, the temperature wouldn’t go below 70 degrees at any point during our stay which is not great sleeping conditions.

Hotel is in a great spot that is very walkable to Times Square, and Broadway as well as plenty of other bars and restaurants. We found the hotel to be quite clean and modern. The elevator system is an absolute shamozle. Just go back to the old button system. Staff at check in were not very friendly. Doesn't hurt to smile every now and again. Rooms are very small but we were expecting that being NYC. They are however very smartly designed - no complaints there. Rooftop bar was awesome with a good vibe and nice bartenders.

Location was great as it close to everything but morning breakfast was a zoo and food was average. Shower never got hot like warm at best. Elevator at morning was really slow

Frustrating experience. A/C didn’t work. Very small rooms. Elevators were a nightmare. Took us 40” to get downstairs with our luggage. Breakfast buffet was good but very crowded. Area surrounding while convenient but not attractive.

Great location. Liked the fact that breakfast is included. Very clean. Rooms are not big, but, i wasn't there to hang out in the room. View from the patio bar on the roof, stunning. I would definitely stay there again.

Small room but functional and clean. Very noisy. Air con unable to switch off properly. Long queues to check in. Breakfast crowded and awful food choice. Avoid if vegan. Go to cafes around corner. Pizza shop opposite. Hotel right next to broadway and times square. Baggage man was really helpful when my booked car failed to arrive and got me a taxi to airport. Plan extra time as roadworks in and out manhatten to jfk awful. Bus around manhatten easy, use contactless card at entry, cheap and air conditioned. Need 3 hrs plus for met, lovely helpful staff. Guggenheim disappointing and staff rude. Moma excellent. New york is very polluted with car fumes and stinks. Avoid if bad chest.

Fabulous location right in the heart of Times Square. Central location to all the major attractions and Subway. Rooms were very small and breakfast was adequate. Housekeeping was every other day but on demand as well.

This hotel is great. Amazing location (a bit busy and in the heart of the action - but you’re literally 3 mins away from everything touristy in the Times Square area). All the staff were kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Aaron - Michael. Everyone was great, he just happened to be the agent to check us in and out, and hooked us up with a great room and early check in. Elevators at this hotel are big and fast - a rare treat for a NYC hotel. A bit of delay (the most minor delay I’ve ever seen in the city) in the morning for breakfast (expected) but that’s the only time. Breakfast is slightly below average quality for a hotel breakfast - but it’s free and it works so no complaints from us. Room was a decent size for NYC, was recently renovated/modernized/built and was very clean!

The hotel staff was excellent! Friendly and very welcoming. The room was a little warm couldn’t seem to get the temperature lower to cool it down other than that a great stay!

I truly enjoyed staying here during my trip to NYC, it was very accessible to get to Times Square/ all the arounding areas!! Would definitely recommend to stay for another trip :)

It was clean and the staff we nice. We were able to walk around outside with the kids and had plenty of places and stores to go with them. The hotel Parking for us was definitely a huge help. The only issues we had were the elevators were hard to get and always packed. Also the breakfast buffet was a complete mess. Everyone was as cutting in front and pushing us out of the way. It took a long time to get the coffee and food refilled once it was empty. They need some kind of system for that.

The staff at this property were amazing. They were extremely helpful and about all things NYC. The biggest negative is the AC in the room was not effective leading to very warm and uncomfortable conditions during the stay.

Hotel was in a good location for us and the rate was reasonable, but they simply do not give patrons enough room. I know one cannot expect spacious accommodations in Manhattan, especially at a discount rate, but the room was so small that you could not turn around in it and one had to sidestep to get between the bed and what little furniture existed to get to the bathroom or the exit. Quite frankly, the lack of space bordered on being a human rights violation IMO. Staff at the front desk were fairly polite and tried to be helpful, but they weren't exactly empowered to do anything much for patrons and the rest of the staff were brusque at best and unfriendly at worst. Tissue-thin walls also lead to major noise issues - even by Manhattan standards. The AC control gave one the illusion of control over their environment w/o having any actual effect. The HVAC system had a very noisy fan that would kick on and off every 5 minutes - ensuring that you would wake up every 5 minutes as a result. If there was an option to either just let the fan run or turn it off entirely it wouldn't have been bad - but the constant change in background noise every 5 minutes or so never failed to pull me out of sleep. Do not recommend. Will not stay here again.
