  • #walkingwithdinosaurs - its an incredible show to see. The dinosaurs are very real looking and the narrator takes you on the journey back into time where you feel you are there. (an fantastic learning experience). Worth viewing but it is expensive. Our advice - look out for hot deals. We managed to get half price tickets. I would also recommend for ages 6+ . Found younger children may find it a little scary and it can be loud.

Excellent find next to Broadmeadow Station

Excellent accommodation, lovely and modern furnishings and facilities. So convenient to Broadmeadow Station for some medical appointments and then a day of traipsing around Newcastle. Kitchen and supplies were clean and modern and nice to use. Did not use the laundry facilities in the apartment, but they appeared clean and well-kept. Nice amount of storage for both folded and hanging clothes -- and a nice supply of hangers as well. Excellent communication with the management; prompt, efficient and friendly. We thoroughly recommend Nouveau on Young and we will definitely stay again on our trip to Newcastle.

The address ON the property (as in attached to the wall) doesn't match the address on the confirmation, which also doesn't match the info I was sent in a text message. There needs to be external light in the alcove outside the front door. And the padlock to get the key was TINY. But once we were in, the property was great.

Best thing about unit was its proximity to Broadmeadows train station. Otherwise nothing out of ordinary. No teatowel or dish sponge to keep kitchen clean

The apartment was fantastic. The problem was we chose the apartment purely on location and it was positioned nowhere near where it showed up on the map. I was running my first marathon and my family came down to watch me run. Because of the deception regarding the apartment's location, my preparation was completely ruined and rather than getting to see me run, my pregnant wife was stuck cooped up in an apartment with two infant children. Memorable weekend ruined!

Hotels.com listed this as .2 miles from city center on Market st. Turned out to be a different Market st in Broadmeadow. About 2 miles from city center. Received text day before that location was Young street. No reception, no service. Would have been lost without a smartphone. Otherwise the accommodation was Okay. $20 parking probably unnecessary. Only booked because of location. NOT GOOD!

Two night weekend stay

The location is very close to Broadmeadow train station but is about 15 min walk to Hamilton where there are lots of cafes and shops. When we stayed we had noisy neighbours that were knocking on our door in the middle of the night on our second night there. However, this isn't the fault of Nouveau on Young. Tea and coffee were not provided but small milk packets were. The fans and table legs were dusty but otherwise the place was very clean. The fire panel on the ground floor was active for our entire stay.

Dårlig opplevelse i Newcastle

Lå helt feil plassert i kartet! Ble bestilt som flott sentrumsleilighet og så lå den 3 km utenfor. Var møkkete, både nattbord, lamper, skuffer, stoler, sofa, gulv og vinduer. Var en liten veranda, men der var det ingen møbler. Ellers var leiligheten fin med to soverom og to bad. Vi fikk omvask, men hjalp ikke mye.

No blinds in the living area. People can see inside the property while we are relaxing or eating. Dirty toilet. Dirty hand towel and no toilet paper.
