The desk clerk said the pool was closed. We asked if we could just sit out there and get some sun. We had no desire to swim (sign said "No lifeguard" and "Swim at your own risk"). She called the manager and relayed our request. The manager said no. That was it. So we borrowed 2 straight back chairs from the dining room and sat in the parking lot for a half hour, enjoying the sun and the cars. Real classy joint."
