Town and Country Inn & Resort

"We usually prefer cookie-cutter mid-price hotels, where amenities and services are pretty predictable. The Town and Country Inn isn’t at all like that! It’s big, it’s old-established and quirky. But the important things (bedroom, bathroom, and mattress quality,) are actually modern and recently upgraded I believe. In terms of quirky, I wouldn ’t like to try to negotiate the corridors and such in a wheelchair, with gradients and ramps etc, since buildings of different ages are connected together. Staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, bed very comfortable. We’ll be back!"

"This is a gem. It’s dated and the rooms are small but kept in immaculate condition and what a bargain in the beautiful white mountains . And if you like outdoor pools this is a nice one. I just love staying at family owned properties instead of the corporate ones. Highly recommended"

"There is a lovely view and it is also nice to have a separate cabin. The place was clean, had a stove, small fridge and freezer, as well as heat and A/C. I also appreciated that we could open the windows for some fresh air. The only thing that could be improved was that the cabin could be updated, and there could have been more blankets. There was one extra for four people which ended up being a little chilly."
