"Rooms are clean and the staff pleasant. Dining room/restaurant staff, exceptional! Breakfast was good. Location is ok. Not really close to anything, but not too far either. Uber to most destinations. Many guests were eating at the hotel restaurant. Average per meal $30-$45 USD per person."

"We stayed at Bonne Etoile for three nights and used it as our home base while exploring Punta del Este and the surrounding area. The location was excellent—within easy walking distance of restaurants, the marina, shopping, and many of the downtown attractions. It was convenient to leave the car parked and explore much of the area on foot. Breakfast was included each morning and offered a wide variety of options, with something for everyone. "We got to our room, and the bathroom smelled horrible! I notified the gentleman at the front desk. He said he would contact management and see if they would authorize a move to another room. He later came to our room and said the request was denied. He sprayed some “perfume” in the drains and told us to leave the fan on, and left. That didn’t help.
