"FIVE STAR!!! The location of the property was perfect! Could walk to the beach just yards away. The market and restaurant were also a short walking from the accommodations. The staff was friendly and very personable. Would return to this property in a heartbeat!!"
Hotel Riu Palace Costa Rica - All Inclusive

"The atmosphere and property were incredible upon arrival. The hotel is about a 40-minute drive from the airport, and the last 10–15 minutes were a bit rough due to uneven roads and potholes. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the female staff member who assisted us was friendly and welcoming. We arrived with a rental car, but there were no outdoor staff available to help with our luggage to our 4th-floor ocean-view room, which would have been appreciated. The room was neat and clean overall, but some higher shelves in the closet and shower area had noticeable dust and could use more attention. The pool was incredible and very well maintained. The restaurants and common areas were also clean and nicely kept, though the wait time for restaurant staff to assist with orders could have been better. We are Deaf tourists and communicate well through writing. Some staff were unsure how to interact with us and responded verbally even after I asked questions in writing, so I had to remind them to write back. Better Deaf awareness and communication training would improve the experience. Diamante Eco Adventure Park is adjacent to the hotel property and is a great bonus experience. It is about a 15-minute walk or less than a 5-minute drive from the hotel, which makes it very convenient. Overall, despite a few areas for improvement, the stay was very worthwhile. We enjoyed the beautiful property, pool, ocean views, nearby adventure park, and great memories."

"Me gustó la atención de los empleados. Amables y serviciales. No me gustó los 4 camastros qué ponen a disposición de los clientes. Están en muy mal estado. No había papel higiénico ni tallas en el. Baño del restaurante a las 8 y 30 de la mañana abriendo ellos el. Restaurante a las 7 am. El carro de transporte solo. Uno hay ahora para 3 usuarios. La comida aceptable pero muy raquitica. En fin ya no es como antes yo he visitado este hotel. Por muchas ocasiones y lastima ahora vade mal. En peor. Anteriormente le daba 5 estrellas. Espero que mejoren su atención al usuario. Gracias."

"Very old property and the rooms were lacking preventative maintenance. Rings in toilet, spiders and cobwebs in corners, shower doesn’t drain, sheets stained, and gaps in the entry door to were ants were coming in. Now the pool and beach front is nice, actually beautiful. So if you don’t care where you lay your head. Then it’s a great place. But if you want a comfortable place to sleep as well as a nice place. Then this is not the place to stay. We booked three rooms and all were the same. Dirty, Old, uncared for."

"Our room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the ceiling fan didn't work and our slide glass door lock was broken, but being on the 6th floor, it wasn't a problem. The hotel has a beautiful pool with swim up bar. The breakfast bar was excellent with many delicious local foods, fruits and some traditional American foods like cereal and toast. The Beach Club is a great place to work out, swim in the pool or spend time on the beach-there are lounge chairs with wait staff service. The hotel makes it really easy to book tours and get shuttle rides for you for surfing lessons, mangrove tours and more. Highly recommended!"
Azura Beach Resort - All Inclusive - Adults Only

"This hotel is peaceful and perfect for a couples vacation. The housekeeping wasn’t really cleaning for example our sheets became dirty instead of them changing the sheets they made the bed up with the exact sheet on opposite side, they left the garbage and the cups of alcohol that were left on the mini fridge. Other than that the property is amazing food is amazing bartenders will have those drinks coming. It wasn’t to crowded as it is a small all inclusive resort. I will definitely be staying there again."
