"Overall good stay, the garden was a high light to walk around at night. Ukulele class at hotel lobby was fun. Swimming pool, water park was packed. Hotel offered ice-cream machine for free and need to take a token from reception but we didn’t know until the day we checked out. Need to see the sign next to the machine, did not look as not too kin on sweet but my children love, wish we knew earlier or was given a token when check in would be more useful. Hotel off ¥5606 for food order as platinum member but was given a VIP lounge pass, it was nice but we do not drink alcohol, food was limited snack but no to our taste, spaces was full when we wen first evening. I prefer cash credit for food order in the future. Thanks"

"Really large rooms and beautiful view of the lake. One of my favorite hotels. The free shuttle bus from the train station helps a lot."

"Staff were the best in service and attention to detail. Main building had some construction ongoing as of 7/2025, but stayed in villa separate from main building. Villa was traditional in all aspects including tatami floors and sliding doors. Breakfast and set dinner meals were excellent providing variety of Japanese flavors and multiple courses of meals. Villa has indoor and outdoor private onsen. Public onsen was excellent clean and location was only 45 taking local bus from Odawara station to Ryokan. "

"Er had a very nice stay. The room was nice and clean. The Onsen very nice. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was also very nice. The pick up service is great. "

"This hotel was amazing. From the moment we walked on the premises we were greeted by friendly staff who helped us with our luggage and made our check-in very easy. The lobby is nice but the view of lake Ashi was breathtaking. The onsen was something special. It has multiple baths and an open air setting that will be hard to top. The dinner and breakfast buffet meals were amazing and dinner included Japanese whiskey. If you’re looking for something to balance out the crowded busy city life of Japan, this hotel will give you a retreat you’ll never forget."

"A good place to stay and relax. Only down side is that there are some communication barriers since I don't speak Japanese and the staff doesn't really speak English, but they did try their best to communicate with you, things like prepared cards and using translation app on their cell phone."

"It was a really nice experience. It was great that we had to take our shoes off at the entrance it really sets the vibe tha this is a true Ryokan. The room was super clean and well thought out. The facilities overall were excellent as well. Onsen was super clean and the Yukatas that they provided were fun and comfortable to wear during our stay. "
