"The front desk man when we checked in was not friendly, even when given a compliment. He was in a rotten mood. The lobby reeked of weed all day and night Saturday. Thankfully it was gone Sunday. The hallway to the room was stinky and dark. The room was decently clean, but the bathroom walls had stains on them by the toilet, and the carpet wasn’t very well cleaned. The walls were dusty in the room. It seems Delmar is not doing as well as years past. We have stayed in the Moonrise many times over the last 15 or so years and it’s definitely not like it used to be in the area, which is sad! I’m not sure if we will come back."
