"We had a beach front room and the view was beautiful. Rooms are older, but spacious. We couldn’t get the bedroom tv to work and internet was slow but it didn’t matter all that much to us. Staff was kind and helpful, property grounds were clean, location excellent. Room was great for a family, stocked kitchen and spacious. Quant spaces, close to everything, not five star luxury if that is what you are looking for but not needed here, it’s gorgeous! Wild bunnies on sight are a fun bonus for kids."

River Inn at Seaside

"Liked the location because it was convenient to everything. The “river view” was a disappointment. Nothing to see except a road next to it and surrounding buildings were a bit run down. The staff was friendly and rooms were fine but nothing fancy. Liked that there was a washer and dryer on the premises."
Astoria Riverwalk Inn

"The room had a view of the little marina and the Astoria bridge. Breakfast was the usual fare. Second floor rooms require stair climbing as rooms are exterior entry. Fine for us. A good inexpensive option, with restaurants close by. We had to drive to what we wanted to see, the Maritime Museum, shopping, Astoria column. Not a problem. Trolley only runs on limited days and hours, although the stop is by the hotel."

"The property is forested and there is a lot of walking ,which we found to be refreshing, the aerial park was closed for cleaning so that was sad.the private beach access was also great.food was just as good as driving anywhere. We loved driving up and down the coast for day trips and returning to our room."
