"Did not find front desk people friendly. They seemed put out when we called to see if we could check in an hour early and said they'd call if we could but never did. I don't mind being told no, I can understand a policy where they don't allow early check in but just let us know. When we went to the front desk to ask for more towels, the person behind the desk said, didn't your room have towels? They did, of course but then we showered and needed two more towels. (The rooms aren't serviced or automatically provided with towels unless requested.) Housekeeping did a good job with the room being clean but the curtains had something on them and the chairs in the room were dirty. Also, the bathroom was very small. On a side note, the beach is not an easy walk from the hotel. Obviously not the hotel's fault but for easy beach access, you can drive to 35th St or to Taft Waterfront Park."
