"The location right on the river is lovely. While very clean, and also reasonably new inside, there are irritants — a bath rather than a shower and some flimsy fittings. Obi was very helpful but the taxi service somewhat haphazard. Breakfast was well done with home baked breads and, cheese and boiled eggs. The large bed and mosquito nets very comfortable. But in this location , an evening food offer is needed. The location deserves a better hotel and not much is needed to improve the Waterfront,...

"Staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful with directions and local information. The pool was enjoyable and refreshing, especially after a warm humid day. Our room was spacious and very clean. The common area kitchen was clean and had all the utensils, cookware, and serving ware that was needed. We felt right at home. "

"The staff are fantastic. We booked this hotel as it advertised a restaurant and bar...it has neither. The "room" that breakfast is served in is very unappealing. Breakfast was of a very poor standard. WiFi is extremely slow and frustrating. Water from the shower is almost non existent. There is one TV channel which was pathetic to say the least. More pleasant surroundings would have made our stay in Maun much more enjoyable."
