"If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep. Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical....

The staff was nice, the place was well maintained, the breakfast was pretty good and there weren't any issues with noise. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, and the interior was good. "This property was rated very good on Expedia at the time of our booking. The room we were given had the following issues: 1. Mold growing on the shower caulking 2. TV screen after adjusting brightness still looked like it was about to turn black 3. Paint on walls cracked and peeling off 4. Thermostat for hvac broken so the unit wouldn’t even power on 5. Dimmest lighting we’ve ever encountered in a hotel room To be transparent here this property that is an old Sleep Inn is under new ownership...

"Couldn't check in because I didn't have enough on my card for the deposit and pet fee that was not advertised. I was in a desperate position and I'm sure came off high strung. The front desk person took great joy in telling me how happy he was that I wouldn't get my money back, because I had already paid for the room. I thought I was going to have to sleep in my car, 900 miles from home. Luckily I found a safer hotel."
