"It was located in a good place. The dislikes were no safe in rooms, and my sister ended up having to change rooms cuz their a/c didn’t work. Also disliked having to pay for parking. If I’m a guest? Treat me like a guest!"

"The valet staff is EXCELLENT. the property is nice in the lobby and I like older historic vibe hotels but the room has ZILCH updates. Tiny bathroom the room feel C+. Decent bed. That isn’t my issues. Be forewarned get the name of everyone you speak to and time date it because they didn’t honor their word and the manager argued with me about what I was told. I’m done. I have never left a bad review in all my years in hotels.com. She was RUDE and unimpressive."

"One warning: the bathrooms in the rooms do not have locks. Other than that from the location, the cleanliness, and staff are all amazing and I cannot stress the affordability."

"The location can't be beat. Very short walk to the Alamo. The sense of history was amplified by the antiques in the building. The only drawback for me was the lack of a bathroom fan/vent and a slightly musty smell. Not overpowering but noticeable. Be prepared to pay a lot for parking, especially if using the valet service "
