This is our favourite place to stay on East Coast. St Helen’s is one of the best towns to be in too. Great locality to everything"
"Hotel strikes you on first sight as "older". We arrived in the afternoon and wandered around reception for 10 minutes after being told by a lady behind the desk it would only be a moment while the only other person on duty was on the phone. There was no one else in the property. I left, went back to the car and considered going somewhere else. Came back in, and was ignored while the two behind the counter had a conversation. Finally got checked in. Later, went to the bar, sat down, and...
"Check in was excellent and informative, room was clean and modern with beautiful views of the ocean. Parking is easy right outside your room.
The big downside was that you couldn’t use the toilet as it backed up and took about 10 minutes to clear. When reported to housekeeping they said it was normal for that block."
"Convenient enough location but id rank it 2 star. I pick a 2 br place so we and partner have some space. This one was cramped. Would suit budget level traveller."
