"Wallaby Ridge Retreat was a beautiful serene spot overlooking the valley, with a spa, pool and peace and quiet. A few of the wallabies were roaming around. Dan the manager was very helpful on hand for anything you needed. The little town of Canungra is close by with coffee shops etc. I would definitely recommend this lovely place. "Very pretty property in a very secluded beautiful wooded location. The owner is an extremely nice person that has gone through recent tragedy in life and all support is appreciated. The property has a hippy vibe. It is not far from the town of Port Douglas but will be a 15 minute drive. The owner has two Australian Cattle Dogs (Blue Heelers) that are extremely friendly, beautiful, and very intetilligent. They are quite fun to play with."

"It was unique...... Warm, cosy, interesting, private, safe, quiet, central to tourist attractions, IGA etc. I attended a wedding 5 mins drive at Shambala Estate 5 mins to Curtis Falls, 15 mins to St Bernards Hotel. Loved my 2 night stay."
