Wonderful location, very friendly experience, very nice accommodation.

This is without doubt one of the most special places we have ever stayed. Service was special from owners and staff. Food was outstanding, Rooms large and beds very comfortable, and the views truly outstanding.

This is a small place with three rooms. I had room 2 which was a decent size and had the necessary facilities...aircon, fan, fridge, tv. Everything thing works well. It is clean. The location is convenient and walkable to Savusavu town. The property is raised up from the road and there are steps up to access, which might make it difficult for someone reliant on a wheelchair. Their is a small kitchen preparation area. You will have to either prepare of go out for meals as there is no onsite...

Our stay at the Maqai Eco Resort was by far the highlight of our wonderful holiday in Fiji. We were looking for a resort with 'bure' right on the beach and we got exactly that at Maqai. We slept soundly for the first time since arriving in Fiji, the sound of crashing waves working their magic. The staff and owner Angela were immensely welcoming and created an attentive yet laid-back atmosphere. The views from this hotel is amazing, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the owner arranges activities ranging from Snorkelling, River Tubing, Hiking, to stand up paddle boarding. This island has Tony Robbins Events on a regular basis, and it is recommended that you allow a few days after or before the event to explore this beautiful island, and the activities it has to offer. Lovely lodge with everything you need to be comfortable. The views and the air coming from the sea are amazing! Hughly recommended :) The only thing that didn't work very well was the WiFi that only works in certain areas, the rest was lovely and they are very helpful and kind. Would come back any time.

I stayed here with my then girlfriend who I married at the hotel so obviously will always remember the Garden Island Resort. They were brilliant, organising the wedding for us and the wedding location that was on the hotels jetty / pier . We opted for an all inclusive rate for our stay which proved a good move as the food was excellent though the package doesn't include drinks. The only down side was the road from the main road to the hotel was terribly bad.

We stayed at Daku in July 2022 for our honeymoon. What a fantastic place it was and stay we had. Amazing service from the team, very personable. Fantastic food, some of the best in Savusavu. 20 minute walk to town or very cheap taxi, always available. Owners Dehlia and JJ were most welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to ensure we had the best honeymoon. Really like my stay in this hotel, staff esp receptionist were very helpful.

I was meant to stay at the hotel for two nights but extended to 5 nights. They staff are lovely the hotel room was very clean. Food was very good. Would defiantly stay again.
