We absolutely loved the location of the property on the water. They paid beautiful tribute to the rich herring history, without feeling cheesy - it felt like a cozy cabin throughout. "Beautiful hotel. Large rooms and by far the best hotel breakfast on our trip of 6 nights. New, clean, great food, dinner too and staff was friendly. As we approached, we were reminded what we had read about not judging a book by its cover. Most of the hotels in Iceland (at least where we stayed) were built for Icelandic weather on the outside. The inside was perfect! Lovely and spacious rooms, more so than a few other places we stayed. The room, decor, bath, were exceptional in every way....

"The guest house is by the lake and the view is really nice! The kitchen and bathroom is shared and well equipped, there are 2 washroom in the floor, one large and one small, the room is a little bit small, it is even smaller than the larger bath room but warm and cozy, it is okay for a good night's sleep and rest for another long drive next day."
