This was a very comfortable hotel. The room was very pleasant, clean (and warm! - important even in summer!).

We had an incredible stay! Our lodge was immaculately decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and wonderful views. The most magical part was the hot pot from where we were lucky enough to see the northern lights. Rósa was a perfect host and we’re looking forward to returning in the future :)

Clean, comfortable house with good heating. It’s complete with everything you need. Nice views and a good location for the aurora too.

This property was the highlight of my Icelandic experience! It had the most beautiful, scenic location, super remote with a beautiful sea front view. I saw the northern lights 3 times from my room was an unreal experience. The place was so clean, quiet and cozy and the owners were so lovely and helpful when needed. The location is around 20 mins drive from the town so shopping and groceries were needed as it’s quite remote and the road there was a bit scary (I was there in peak winter so it...

The rooms and especially the view were amazing. It was those rare moments where I felt the destination was worth the journey and not the other way around. The staff was very helpful and assisted us with our bad tyre too. 100% I will stay here whenever I visit again. Thank you for having us.

This is an incredible place to stay. It was problem the best lodge we've ever been to. It has stunning views across the fjord which can be enjoyed from the hot tub. It's really well equipped and was always a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Thank you!

Perfectly situated, well designed, quiet and friendly. Our own entrance meant that we could leave and return without disturbing others. Perfect place for 2 friends. Highly recommended

Very cool stay!

This is a newly decorated apartment block. The apartment was very spacious with a full kitchen and a great bathroom. Just 5 min walk from the centre of Akureyri. Parking is also provided opposite the apartment. Only downside was the view, because the only window was essentially at street level.

Our best stay yet. Room was lovely and very warm. I’m sure it would be great in winter but we were roasting. Beds were really comfy. Was great to have a bath too. Excellent choices for dinner. We had the Sel burger, the ribs and the chicken pasta. Delicious. Great breakfast, loads of options. They also have added extras like complimentary tea and coffee after dinner, two hot tubs and a paid laundry service. Mum loved the hot tubs and we used the laundry service. Beautiful location. Excellent facilites and room. Toiletries were exceptional. Lovely breakfast and very friendy hosts. Highly recomended

The hotel has great views of the surrounding mountains. Its not far to walk to the supermarket, or to the town centre. The apartment was very warm with the luxury of underfloor heating.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Great stay.
