Town Houses in Nuwara Eliya

We had a lovely night at Tathya Hills - the staff were very helpful regarding our travel plans and also gave very good food recommendations. The room was lovely with a huge comfortable bed and a clean spacious bathroom. Location wise everywhere we wanted to go was within a short Tuk Tuk ride or walk.

The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town. The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Budget priced hotel in an excellent location near to centre but quiet. Excellent breakfast, lovely sitting area and attentive staff. Would recommend

We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end.

Fabulous old world luxury. We had a lovely afternoon tea on the terrace. Soaked in the spa pool. Wandered the immaculate gardens. Had a world tour for breakfast. A lovely relaxed stay surrounded be helpful happy staff.

We stayed just for a night as a stopover drive from arugam bay to Ahungalla. We had the family room which has two bedrooms, one with 2× double bed and the other 1x double bed. Had a fridge/freezer and a living room. No air conditioning but wasn't needed as the weather was already cold in nuwara Eliya. Breakfast included offered western (sausages, toasted bread and eggs)or srilankan food (dosa, sambal, eggs). Offered fruita and juice. Great location very high up on the mountain with a nice view...

The property was very beautiful and peaceful. The room service was good too. They helped us with the late checkin and luggage till the top floor where the room was. The lady at the reception was very welcoming. Overall a very good experience.

Lovely old bungalow. The butler service we had was exceptional. It’s cold at night so fires in rooms & hot water bottles in bed at night. Food really good. They don’t have a drink license so happy to serve your own. I just recommend you keep your gin in your room rather in their fridge.

Beautiful view and amazing friendly staff

Just what we wanted to escape the busy world; quiet, self-contained and very comfortable. The staff were excellent and the accommodation was spacious with a fantastic bed; one of the best nights sleep we’ve had. The bath was a wonderful bonus. Breakfast, delivered to the room on time was delicious. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of a hotel chain, then this is the place to stay.

The location of the hotel is incomparable. We loved the opportunity to stay in an historic building which has been lovingly restored. We were incredibly well looked after by everyone who works at the hotel and highly recommend this accommodation and the delicious food we ate.

Our host, Sanjaya, provided a warm welcome. Literally as he brought a portable heater into our room as the weather took a chilly turn. Great staff who could not have been more helpful with suggestions and with an umbrella! Breakfast was good too.

we had a lovely time in Galway Heights. We really liked the location in a small rural road close to a hindu temple and small village and in the tea plantations. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff very attentive. The only grievance was the lack of elevator. We would definitely recommend this.

We had a fantastic stay, they room was superb and the bungalow is in a lovely peaceful location a 7 min tuk tuk from Nuwara Eliya town centre. The hospitality and food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The curry was probably the best we had. Highly recommend

We have been in Sri Lanka for over a week now and this hotel has been the best one we’ve stayed at. It is a bit of a walk from the city but can always get a very cheap tuk tuk. Extremely clean and very good breakfast. 10/10
