"The staff and management team is very hospitable and friendly. Particularly Staff Anna whose service is commendable. She went all the way out to help me. I was down with flu and she drove me to the clinic, helped me talk to the nurse in Japanese and ensured everything went well. After my medical consultation, she drove from hotel to the clinic to fetch me back. I really appreciate her helpfulness and hospitality "

"Budget friendly pension, you get what you pay for. If you're just there to ski, want to save money, and don't care for a fancy place or amenities. Room was decently spacious, we had a quad room 2 beds with 2 more beds with the loft so could fit up for 4 people. Pros: Walkable to Goryu Ski Resort, there are a couple of bars/restaurants within 2 minutes of walking. There is a place to store your skis/snowboard equipment and its a heated room so your items can dry. The owners will cook for you (extra cost) for breakfast or dinner (never tried it, but others staying here said the food was solid). Con: You can only use the shower from 4pm - 9:30pm and its on the bottom floor. There is only 1 shower from what I saw. Ended up just using the onsen at Goryu Ski Resort every night after skiing to shower. The main shared bathroom only has 1 stall for the men's side, but there is one downstairs on the main floor too. "

"Friendly, warm and homely. In the middle of the action with all the ski shuttles and ski hire etc almost at the front door. Also a lovely hot spar bath after a day on the slopes. Owner friendly and helpful. "
