I had a check-in time that was outside the usual hours. I was greeted warmly, assisted with my bags and shown to my room. Special dietary requirements were personally catered for too. All staff are engaged and properly informed and looking for ways to help. The setting is useful in relation to the motorway, while still being quiet. Beautiful setting. I look forward to returning.

My reception at check-in was great. A pleasant woman upgraded my room to a water view when she learned that it was my first stay at the hotel. My room was clean and spacious. The public spaces are comfortable and well laid out. I enjoyed a fresh cup of coffee in the library that was excellent. The restaurant appears to be top-notch but the price for dinner was not appropriate for my business trip. My breakfast was outstanding in terms of food quality, variety, service, and atmosphere. I will return to this hotel the next time I am on Funen.

I had a great stay. Really nice rooms and very comfortable beds. I had a problem with a squeeky noice in the room, probably from the aircon. As a result I was upgraded to a big Suite (room 402), with a big rooftop terrace with beautiful views of Storebælt. The hotel is classic in design, but really well kept. And the restaurant serves excellent food.
