"Property was dirty and rundown"

"A few small touches would make a big difference for this small hotel. Towel racks in the bathroom, a shelf or two to place toiletries, a small set of drawers to unpack clothes into. It was very bare bones. Staff were friendly and did their best to be helpful. WiFi was intermittent and ChroneCast on the TV had to be reset a couple of times."

"Had a nice, clean room that included a full fridge, kitchen sink and microwave. Perfect!"

"Loved being on the ground floor, but was a little perturbed to be woken up at 7 in the morning with the outdoor music. Lynn at the front desk is absolutely wonderful, always so sweet and helpful. Older gentleman with glasses not so nice. But all in all we are there alot and its usually a wonderful time."

"It was like putting lipstick on a pig. May have looked good if it wasn't dirty. Up grades made did not hide the fact that it was old and falling apart. Heaters were broken and no parking. ."

"The rooms were clean and the toilets/sinks were clean. The showers didn’t have any hooks to hang up your clothes and the tub shower curtains weren’t very clean. "

"This is a beautiful property, so full of history and charm. The owners are very nice and so accommodating. Our room was quiet, and decorated with soft soothing colours. We chose to have the Eggs Benedict for breakfast and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend staying here!"

"We arrived at the airport late at night and stayed for one night. The room was nice and quiet, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The restaurant kitchen closes as 11pm which is very convenient and the next day it’s a short walk out the door to get the rental car. I would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)"

"The hotel was mostly clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff were nice. The bathroom could have been cleaner as we found hairs and the shower floor was dirty. We could hear noise in the hall and outside the building. There were limited vegan breakfast items."

"The facility was spacious. The emailed instructions were simple and easy to understand. We never saw any person associated with this venue. I am sensitive and allergic to mold. I’m confident I smelled mold in the bathroom. We saw a bald eagle across the lake! Awesome."

"My stay was completely derailed by a severe safety and security issue. Late one night, I had to deal with a highly erratic individual, accompanied by an unknown person, causing massive chaos right outside my door. They were knocking and trying to push their way into my room at midnight. This quickly escalated into them screaming unhinged, discriminatory and offensive abuse towards me. The situation was so out of control that security and then the police had to intervene. This individual was...
